Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Every year Shannon's class, along with the other three 1st grade classrooms at her school, celebrate Thanksgiving by having a feast. Shannon's classroom dresses up as Native Americans every year. The parents of the students bring their favorite Thanksgiving dishes and we celebrate together. This year Kevin and Kai came to join the fun. Shannon made Kai a little headband and one of her students made Kai a little necklace. Kai loves being around all the kids at school and the kids loved having him there.

Here are some pics of Kai from the past two weeks. Our friend from Portland, Susannah, sent him the fleece bear outfit (so cute!). We also bought him a jungle themed play mat which he loves.

Boo at the Boise Zoo

Last weekend we took Kai to the Boise Zoo for the Boo at the Zoo event. They had costume contests, trick or treat booths, and lots of food and fun for kids of all ages. The zoo was packed with kids all dressed up for Halloween. We dressed Kai up in his monkey suit that Nana bought for him for Halloween.
